Aluminum Camlock Fittings are durable mold cast which yields castings with better strength properties and a finer grain structure than those produced in die casting and sand casting.
Polypropylene Camlock Fitting is designed from acid resistant 20% glass reinforced Polypropylene. Maximum temperature for Polypropylene is 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
Each brass coupling is forged up to 3". No tools are necessary to connect. Working pressures up to 250 psi (18 bar). Available in polypropylene, aluminum, brass and 316 stainless steel. Branded product is made from our own tooling system. 3.1b material certification on stainless steel units, available on request. ½” to 6” sizes are available in stocks. Contact us for largesize of Snaplock. Straight through, leakproof connections. All 316 Stainless Steel unitsare marked with a heat trace number. Pin locking holes are standard on stainless steel and aluminum.
Connection to hoses, pipes, tanks, tubing that convey, vapors, powders and liquids including pellets, cooling water, food products, pharmaceuticals,fuels, dyes, chemicals, adhesives, cosmetics etc. Couplingsare connected simply by opening the coupler arms and then inserting the adaptor into the coupler. Thereafter, the two cam arms are closed within the normal hand pressure to joint it completely.
The standard coupling is supplied with a buna nitrile rubber (NBR) seal. See below for other materials like PTFE, viton, neoprene and epdm.
