The  original, tried & trusted quick release coupling with the reputable ‘Snaplock’ brand name, is now available in the USA through Pro Flow Dynamics, a member of the Flowmax Group of companies.

Aluminum Couplings are permanent mold cast which is a process that yields castings with a finer grain structure and better strength properties than those produced in sand casting and die casting.

Brass Couplings are forged for ½” to 3” and sand cast for all other sizes.

316 Stainless Steel Couplings are investment cast, also known as precision casting or lost wax process. SS316 is equivalent to DIN1.4404

Polypropylene Couplings are manufactured from acid resistant 20% glass reinforced Polypropylene. Max temperature for PolyPropylene is 160 degrees farenheit.

Applications:

For pipes, hoses, tubing and tanks conveying liquids, powders & vapours including cooling water, fuels, chemicals, cosmetics, foodstuffs, adhesives, dyes, pharmaceuticals, pellets and many more.

How does it work:

The coupling is connected by simply opening the coupler arms and inserting the adaptor into the coupler. The two cam arms are then closed under normal hand pressure to complete joint.

The standard coupling is supplied with a buna nitrile rubber (NBR) seal. See below for other materials like viton, epdm, neoprene and PTFE.

	Dependant on application, various seals are available such as Buna, EPDM, Viton, Teflon Buna, Teflon Viton, Neoprene, and FEP fully encapsulated.
	Replacement handle, ring and pin assembly kits are available in SS304 and brass.
